The Director of Communication is responsible for managing all communications; plan activities and building external relationships with the organization’s constituencies, including funders and the media. Reporting to the President, the Director of Communications will set and guide the strategy for all communications, website’s, and public relations messages and collateral to consistently articulate G.I.JOE SAR Nonprofit’s mission.

Qualifications:
Highly collaborative style; experience developing and implementing communications strategies.
Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
At least 3 – 5 years of experience in a communications role preferred.
